I’ve been to several Barrio locations, but the OSU one gave me the best experience yet. The food was incredible as always, but what really stood out was the service. Zeb, our waiter, was outstanding—super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely made the night feel special. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. If you’re heading to Barrio, this location (and Zeb!) is a must.
Ali is by far the best waitress I’ve ever had. 5 stars across the board. my wife and I made the trip to Barrio for the first time a few weeks ago and Ali was so welcoming. Aside from her outstanding service, she also knows how to give amazing recommendations on food. Everyone needs a friend like Ali in their life!
One of the best dining experiences I’ve had and it was all thanks to Zeb, our server. From the moment we sat down, he completely elevated the night. You could tell he wasn’t just taking orders, he was curating the vibe. He knew the menu inside and out, gave us spot-on recommendations, and somehow made everyone at the table feel like a regular even though it was our first time there. Zeb brought this rare mix of energy and chill. He was super efficient, but also hilarious, and attentive without hovering. When a small mix-up happened with one of our orders, he handled it so smoothly it actually made the experience better. That’s the kind of service that sticks with you. Honestly, Zeb didn’t just serve us. He hosted us, and that made all the difference.
Alexis was absolutely amazing—friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive from start to finish. They made us feel so welcome and taken care of, offering great menu suggestions and checking in at just the right times. I recently had dinner with my family at Barrio on High Street. We had a great experience -the food was great and the margaritas were outstanding. Zeb was our server-he was very helpful, attentive and made some good recommendations as we have food allergies to deal with. Most importantly, he kept our water glasses full! Even though we had a large party, nothing got screwed up! Service was quick, and everyone seemed really friendly there. Good vibes! Will definitely go there again when I’m in town and ask for Zeb! 10/10 for sure!
I recently visited Columbus and had never tried Barrio before, and I had an amazing time! The food was amazing and the service was great! We had Zeb as our server, and he was so personable and always made sure we had what we needed. He truly went above and beyond and made our experience that much better. Would definitely recommend it if you are headed to Columbus!
Zeb was my server and he handled my business. I had no idea of what to get and he got me right on which tacos to get for what type of mood I was in, (I was happy this day) I have never gotten that experience before and definitely changed my outlook on the service that I deserve at other restaurants. Apart from that he was very kind and gentle when taking my order and bringing me waters as well as my adult drink. Overall very nice place and will be making it my new dinner spot at least 4 times a week.
